The BenefitGuard project involved the construction of an internal system which included customisable user hierarchy and permissions, email notification system, sales pipeline tracking, custom branding of PDF documents etc. The main purpose is to allow for the automation of the registration and contractual process for both advisors and employers (clients) as well as to provide a portal in which advisors and BenefitGuard can manage their clients and potential clients.

In summary, the BenefitGuard project comprised of:

• The creation of an internal email system
• The creation of a PDF branding system, which allows customisable logos and advisor details to be branded into the PDF
• The creation of a user management system which included the ability to define roles and permissions
• The Workflow of signing up a new employer
• The Workflow of signing up a new advisor
• The Workflow of advisors tracking potential clients
• The Workflow of advisors creating custom-branded documents
• The Workflow of a "library" of documents which are available for downloaded to those defined in the roles/permissions to which those authorised may add to.
• CSV export of certain data

We also created the retirement calculator page, which runs all the calculations fully through jQuery and graphically animates the results of the user-inputted options with a bar chart.

We also custom-built a testimonials slide which was incorporated into their Wordpress Theme and scrolls their testimonials within a block.

This system was highly involved and a lot of fun to build!
